They visited my studio and stockyards for several days from last week to this week.
They came all the way from New Jersey to Japan for this project.
The countertops will be used in a restaurant that is scheduled to open next year.
The wood used is, of course, HINOKI.
The length of these four pieces of hinoki is over 27' (8000mm).
And there are no knots!
I am looking forward to creating a countertop using these four precious pieces of hinoki.
And I hope to see you again next year in New Jersey.
