Completion of the Dubai Project
Our Dubai project, which took several months to complete, is now finished. The centerpiece is a low-profile but large-scale table crafted from hinoki Japanese cypress, a wood deeply valued for its durability, aroma, and natural beauty.

The table features tapered edges that are both simple and powerful. This refined touch highlights the strength and elegance of hinoki wood, making it ideal for restaurants, chefs, and interior designers who value a minimalist yet impactful look.
Impressive Scale and Practical Structure
Measuring 3.2 m (10.5 ft) in length, 120 cm (47 in) in width, and 7 cm (2.75 in) in thickness, this table makes a bold statement in any space. The legs are designed with removable joints, allowing easy installation and transportation without heavy construction work. For architects and contractors, this flexibility ensures a smoother project timeline.
Sourced from Japan's Hinoki Cypress
The table is crafted from raw lumber sourced from hinoki cypress in Japan. Japanese cypress, or hinoki, is renowned worldwide for its fine grain, resilience, and calming fragrance. From sushi bars to luxury dining spaces, this material elevates the atmosphere with authenticity and tradition.
Looking Ahead
Although no major construction work was required for this project, we look forward to visiting Dubai soon and seeing this table in its new home. For future projects, whether in the US, Dubai, or beyond, our commitment remains the same: to bring the timeless beauty of Japanese hinoki cypress to modern interiors.
