Hinoki lumber!

Many hinoki lumbers are waiting to depart.
These hinoki are high-quality hinoki lumber from the Yoshino region of Nara Prefecture, Japan.

In recent years, large diameter hinoki trees have become extremely scarce.
If the diameter exceeds 400 mm, it becomes extremely expensive.
The maximum width of knot-free lumber from a 400 mm diameter log is about 300 to 350 mm.

Lumbering scene

It is also important to select logs that have been well-maintained and have few knots.
In such a situation, the hinoki lumber here is large, with a width of 450 to 550 mm, and is not easily available.
The price is by no means reasonable, but these beautiful and powerful gifts of nature are always a sight to behold.
They would be perfect for store countertops and tables.

Dried HINOKI

Before shipping or processing, the moisture content is adjusted to 10-12%.
Although it depends on the thickness of the lumber, it takes approximately several years to dry.
We are particular about the method of drying the wood, and as a rule, we dry it naturally at low temperatures.
Drying methods that do not apply heat make it possible to reduce the moisture content without damaging the wood cells.
This is a way to get the wood to sweat properly.

Product completion

For reference, the maximum size of Hinoki lumber in stock is L-6,500 mm, W-580 mm, T-140 mm.
