Order from a Japanese restaurant complex in Las Vegas

Summary

We have received an order for countertops for a Japanese restaurant complex scheduled to open this summer in a prime location along the Las Vegas Strip.

The complex comprises seven restaurants, and we have been commissioned to fabricate the counters for five of them.
The order includes two Hinoki counters, two Sapele counters, and one Wenge counter—all crafted from solid wood.

Hijoki Countertops

This Hinoki counter measures 28 feet (8,500 mm) along its straight section.
It was crafted using Hinoki from the same region, ensuring a seamless match in color and grain at the joints.

The photo below also shows top-quality Yoshino Hinoki, with the straight sections measuring 31 feet (9,500 mm) in length.

These Hinoki timbers are rare materials that are difficult to find even within Japan.
The joints have also been crafted to an exceptional standard.

Sapelli Countertops

We would also like to show you a section of the counter made from African Sapelli wood, rather than domestic Japanese timber.
This lowered section of the counter was designed to be accessible for guests using wheelchairs.
It certainly possesses a charm distinct from that of Hinoki cypress.

In addition, counters made of wenge and sapele were fabricated, carefully packed, and shipped to Las Vegas at the end of June.

The goods are distributed across three wooden boxes, with a total weight of 6,000 pounds (2,500 kg).

By the time this blog post goes live, the equipment will likely have arrived in the United States.
Starting in mid-July, four members of the Hanabusa Global Project Team will carry out the installation in Las Vegas.
We will be sharing progress updates via Instagram Stories, so please be sure to check them out.
