I ordered a custom-made cutting board, which I received very quickly, in about a week. The cutting board exactly matched the specifications I had requested. As usual for Hanabusa, the cutting board was very finely finished with smooth-as-glass surfaces and precise, thin chamfers on all edges. Also noteworthy, the cutting board was very carefully wrapped with padding and protective foam so that it arrived in perfect condition. Highly recommended.

I am very pleased with the Hanabusa Hinoki cutting board I purchased. It is exactly as was described on the website in terms of size, materials, and finish. The Hinoki cypress is a beautiful, single, solid piece of wood. I was especially impressed by the expert finishing of the board, it was as smooth as a piece of glass and had a very precise, fine chamfer along all the edges of the board. The cutting board was so beautiful and finely finished that I almost didn't want to use it and get it scratched using a knife on it. Truly excellent quality and workmanship.
